Enthusiastic and confident as ever, Ben saved the day on Monday when the learners from both the UK and South Africa ran out of playground activities to share. Luckily Ben's game was a real hit with the Beaufort West students and his clear instructions helped us all to enjoy another half hour of fun in the 26 degree heat! He also graced us with an elegant traditional dance on the sports field during a football game. An incredible, humbling time was had by all in Beaufort West- after a series of emotional goodbyes on Tuesday, the Redbourne and Biddenham students and staff left Beaufort West Secondary School School feeling overwhelmed by the kindness and solidarity displayed by the learners in the school, who quickly became friends that we will never forget.
